On her deathbed, Twilight Sparkle will become cognizant of the edges of infinity. She will see more than all there and only truly come to grasp her world as she is leaving it. “Help me” she shall cry and none shall help. Twice shall she cry and none will hear. Three times will she cry and all will slip away. That void which lies beyond the comprehension of all things real, across the border that separates all that is from all that is not, shall capture her and rip her from her singular viewpoint. She will be thrust away from her comfortable space and find herself in a new sphere. She will truly comprehend what it means to be and what it means not to be. She will come to realize that all of existence is a whole, a whole which warps about and collapses on itself. A whole outside of which even the blackness of nothing cannot be found. It will cause her to wonder. What was real? Was any of it real? Did it matter? She will finally see it as she crosses the boundary- not the boundary from light to darkness, but from light to the absence of light and dark. In her final moments of comprehensible life, Twilight will advance through the twilight of her understanding. And she will cross it. And finally she will understand what friendship could be.
